Most developed countries do not fluoridate their water. Fluoridated countries do not have less tooth decay than non-fluoridated countries. Fluoridation is not a natural process. Fluoride affects many tissues in the body besides the teeth. Studies show that babies who are given fluoridated water in their formula develop significantly higher rates of dental fluorosis.
Fluoride removal is achieved by utilising the advanced media technology of ResinTech SIR-900 media. AF Series cartridges remove Fluoride by a chemical reaction with the media. ResinTech SIR-900 is a synthetic aluminium oxide that is specially processed to have minimum fines and other foreign matter. It has minimal shrinkage/swelling and low-pressure loss. The product is physically stable and can be used over a wide pH range.
CARBON OPTION (RELATES TO *SFS-AAG)
Carbon filtration is an inexpensive and effective way to remove chemicals and contaminants commonly found in tap water. Aries FilterWorks carbon cartridges are an ideal choice for taste and odour control, chlorine removal, and organic reduction.
Activated carbon has remarkable absorptive properties, which makes it effective in removing chlorine, sediment and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). The Carbon particles have a large surface area, allowing a small amount of carbon to efficiently filter large volumes of water. As water passes through the carbon filter many chemicals and contaminants in the water are bonded at a molecular level to the carbon, effectively removing them from the water. A large percentage of chemical compounds and
organic contaminants that cause taste and odour problems are removed by carbon.
Features and Benefits
- USE OF RESINTECH PREMIUM HIGH CAPACITY SIR-900 RESIN Extended surface area and pore distribution give the media the highest possible operating capacity and lowest leakage. For best performance, lower pH water sources are preferred
- FDA Drinking Water APPROVED MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION Sonic welded construction is a solvent-free method to join and assemble plastic parts, producing a high-quality safe product
- FITS STANDARD RESIDENTIAL AND INDUSTRIAL SIZE HOUSING AF Series cartridges are double-open end cartridges that fit standard residential and industrial housings
